Intermediate Golf Lessons will be structured in an effective manner to work on your foundations. Dream to hit the golf ball with solid contact? This intermediate class will focus on ball impact, power and distance. You will see many demonstration by your Golf Coach who will explain to you the finer details of the golf swing, such as wrist movements, spine angle, and intermediate alignment techniques.
We will focus more on swing mechanisms and swing types to improve your weakness and capitalize your strengths. Our Golf Coach has a trained eye and will help to assess these fine details so improvements can be felt after each lessons. Slow motion video recording will be used to track progress and kept for review.
Who should take up Intermediate Golf Lessons?
This program is targeted at golfers who have taken golf lessons with a Golf Coach in the past and students with Proficiency Certificate PC and/or without Handicap. Students looking to improve their golf game and attain a Handicap should attend the Intermediate Golf Lessons.
Students who have past experience in golfing on the golf course but stopped playing for some time could also attend the Intermediate Golf Lessons to re-start Golf.
After attending this course, students will be able to understand and detect their own swing faults and select basic drills to fine tune their golf swing. Students will be confident to play with different players at full fledged golf course (Par 72) and achieve improvements to their golf game.
Are you ready for Intermediate Golf Lessons?
Your Golf Coach will conduct a player progress test with you to understand your level of golf. Upon completion of the the player progress test, our Golf Coach will be able to coach you effectively. Students equipment will be checked and accessed. Specific safety and warm ups will be reviewed before the commencement of your intermediate golf lesson.

Swing Analysis and Player Progress Test
The first lesson of the Intermediate Golf Lesson is to access Student Swing Style and Poor Habits that developed due to inconsistent practice. Basic Posture, Grip and Alignment will be accessed and student will be introduced to Intermediate Golf Setup. As students can elect to attain Handicap Card in the Intermediate Golf Lessons, more techniques and adjustment drills will be covered compare to the Beginner Golf Lessons.
Proper Release and Timing
Coming to the second lesson, students shall be familiar with his Swing Style learnt in the previous lesson. Proper release of the Golf Club, Intermediate Timing and Release will be introduced to help student achieve additional power into their Golf Swing. Swing Drills will be made available to correct various faults. A powerful swing is the basic to the next few learning sessions.
Driver and Long Irons
You will be integrating proper release and timing into your Long Game (Driver and Long Irons). Students will get to learn the various new Setup Position for Drivers and Long Irons. The Golf Coach will assess your Spine Angle and student can learn his own perfect body movement and angle. Also, the proper Tee Height with reasons and techniques will be explained.
Tempo and Power
A Powerful Setup is the key towards Long Hitter. You will be taught more about the Power Setup and integrate the best Tempo that suits your swing type. Till this stage in the Intermediate Golf Lesson, student should be able to get the ball further and to get ready for more demanding Golf Courses. The key in this session is to focus on proper Power Body Movements and Swing Tempo.
Overall Swing Improvements (Swing Analysis)
After learning various swing techniques and posture setup from previous sessions, your Golf Coach will review your Golf Swing with Slow Motion Video Recording. We will be finding your own Unique Swing and make minor corrections and swing adjustments. Faults will be detected and students will learn to play on their Strengths and eliminate Weakness through Swing Drills. Students will be able to notice improvements in your Golf Swing, Alignment and Posture.
Pre-shot Routine and Game Play
In order to prepare students to play at Full Fledged Golf Course, your Golf Coach will be covering the importance of Pre-shot Routine. The cause and effect of your Routine, Mental and Techniques. Intermediate Distance Control will be covered as well in this lesson. Students can look forward to a Game Play with your Golfing Buddies and Golf Professional. A recap on Basic Golf Rules and Etiquette will be conducted and more intermediate ones to be introduced in this session.
Recovery Shots and Uneven Lies
Golf is not a perfect game and students will be faced with various scenarios and problems on the Golf Course. Your Golf Coach will go through the proper Shot Selection and playing methods for Recovery Shots. At this stage, students would be able to hit the Golf Balls on simple flat Turf with ease. However, the Golf Course is full of slopes and your Golf Pro will be teaching the adjustment technique for Uneven Lies. The focus of this session is about reducing the additional strokes that you may incur during difficult Golf Course situation.
On the Golf Course (Express Route: Courtesy Round)
A 9 holes, 2 hours, Golf Course session will be conducted by the Golf Coach with the students. Students shall already be familiar with Basic Rules and Etiquette. More intermediate and some advance rules and etiquette will be covered so students will have a better understanding of the game. Course management and swing analysis will be recorded for review in the next session. Students can elect the express route in this session and considered this as a Courtesy Round towards getting your Handicap. Students who perform well attain his or her Handicap Card.
Understanding your own Golf Swing
A final review and Swing Comments will be provided. Students would have mastered their own Golf Swing after attending the Intermediate Golf Lessons. Students shall take this opportunity to question their Golf Coach on more Advance Topics and note down various answers for future self-improvement and practice. With the various Drills and Techniques learnt, students will be confident to play on their own at the Golf Course. Students would have understood how to play the game of Golf, proper Shot Selection and your mind. Enjoy the Golf Game and beat your golfing buddies!

Important Points to Note
- Students must come in proper golf attire
- For students who elected the express route for Handicap Card: Student may not be awarded the Handicap card if the student is not able to perform proper rules and etiquette or required playing ability during the Courtesy Round
